Jasmine Zhai is a passionate young pianist that has grown as an acclaimed young pianist under the guidance of her teachers Dr. Olga Chichova, Mr. Qiu Yinghong, Ms. Zhu Yingyu, and Ms. Wang Juan. She is an Overall Prize winner in the 2023 Steinway Piano Competition, Gold Star Best Classical Performance, Best Modern Performance, and Best Sonata Performance winner in the 2023 Music & Stars Awards, 1st place winner in the OMFA piano duets, 2nd prize winner in the IPPA Conero International Piano Festival & Competition online finals, 6th Place in the Eighth Hong Kong International Piano Invitation Competition; 2th Place in the Seventh Hong KongInternational Piano Invitation Competition and many more. Jasmine has had masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Sasha Starcevich, Boris Slutsky, John Perry, Myong-Joo Lee, and Carol Wong. Throughout these years, Jasmine continues to show and demonstrate her love for music. She performed a solo concert in November 2023, and performed Chopin Piano Concerto No.2 with The New York Chamber Players Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in April 2024. Jasmine actively attends charity concerts and engages with her community by using music to improve elders’ memory and cognition. She is also a talented violinist and vocalist, once serving in her school orchestra and participating in international choir performances in Ireland. Additionally, Jasmine excels in academic fields, winning National gold medals in Biology olympiads, placing in international research competitions, and winning school scholarships.
